Four-Year-Old Killed in Tragic Road Accident Near Walajabad

Tragedy struck near Walajabad on Sunday night as a family's trip to the Vallakottai Murugan temple turned fatal. Loganathan, 40, his wife Mahalakshmi, 38, and their two young daughters were on a motorcycle when a four-wheeler traveling from Walajabad collided with them. The impact left the parents with leg fractures and the children with severe injuries.
Locals rushed the injured family to Kancheepuram government hospital. Following initial first aid, they were transferred to government hospitals in Chennai for advanced treatment. Sadly, four-year-old Samyuktha succumbed to her injuries on Monday morning.
Walajabad police have registered a case concerning death due to negligence and rash driving. Investigations are underway, focusing on whether the driver of the four-wheeler, which bore a 'govt' sticker, may have dozed off at the time of the collision.
