A private plane crashed near the resort town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. The incident occurred on February 13th, near Emerald Mountain, approximately three hours northwest of Denver. The Federal Aviation Administration's preliminary report indicates the Epic Aircraft E1000 crashed under unknown circumstances.
The National Transportation Safety Board has initiated an investigation into the fatal crash. The victims were transported to the Routt County Coroner's Office for identification. Flight tracking services show the plane's route is not publicly available due to a request from its owner.
Records indicate the aircraft was registered to ALS Aviation LLC, a Franklin-based company.
