Fort Collins Apartment Fire Extinguished Quickly

Poudre Fire Authority crews were dispatched to an apartment building fire on Tuesday morning in Fort Collins. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Cunningham Drive. Firefighters arrived on scene shortly after 10 a.m. to find that the apartment building had already been successfully evacuated by its residents.

Crews worked to extinguish the flames, and officials confirmed the fire was out as of 10:48 a.m. One patient received attention at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by fire officials.
