A tragic accident has claimed the life of Andy Paul Ferrarone, 33, who was rock climbing in California. On July 12, Ferrarone slipped on a rocky slope near Castle Rock in Big Bear, falling about 20 feet and sustaining severe head trauma.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Aviation Unit commencing CPR. He was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he remained on life support.
Sadly, Ferrarone passed away on July 15, three days after the incident. He is survived by his wife, Nina, who is nine weeks pregnant.
