A 38-year-old man, identified as Naresh Bhuiyan, lost his life in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district while attempting to rescue his daughter. The young girl had come into contact with a snapped 11,000-volt overhead electric wire that was hanging near a well in Brahgorai village.
Tragically, when other family members rushed to the girl's aid, they too sustained severe burn injuries. Four relatives, including two women, were hospitalized for treatment. The victim's body was sent for a post-mortem examination at the district hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
