Stephen Jones, a 33-year-old father from Bootle, passed away on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, from injuries sustained in a two-car crash. The incident occurred just before 20:40 GMT on December 24th, 2024, at the junction of East Lancashire Road and Stonebridge Lane in Croxteth.
Mr. Jones was reportedly driving with his partner and their eight-year-old son when his vehicle collided with an Audi. The 32-year-old driver of the Audi was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and driving while unfit through drink or drugs. He currently remains on bail.
