A fatal single-vehicle rollover crash claimed the life of a 21-year-old man early Saturday morning. The incident happened around 4:20 a.m. on County Highway S in the Town of Addison, Washington County, Wisconsin.
The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was found deceased at the scene. Authorities reported that the vehicle was traveling east on County Highway S when it veered off the road, crossed back, became airborne, and collided with a utility pole, causing downed power lines.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash. Preliminary findings suggest speed was a contributing factor. We Energies crews worked to replace the damaged pole and restore power, leading to the closure of County Highway S for much of Saturday.
