A fatal incident occurred on Monday morning in Omagh, County Tyrone, when a man lost his life in a collision involving a lorry. The crash took place on the Donaghanie Road and was reported to the Police Service of Northern Ireland shortly after 10:20 GMT.
Emergency services, including the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, were dispatched to the scene. A rapid response paramedic, two emergency crews, and a Hazardous Area Response Team were among those who attended. The man was confirmed deceased at the location.
The Health and Safety Executive has also been involved in the response. The Donaghanie Road has been closed and is expected to remain so throughout the night. Police are asking the public to avoid the area and are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with relevant footage to come forward.
