Fatal Head-On Crash Claims Canton Man's Life

A tragic head-on collision on Navarre Road last Tuesday, July 2, resulted in the death of a 28-year-old Canton man. The incident occurred at 3:51 p.m. near Negley Avenue.
Dylan M. Manack, driving a 2016 Jeep Compass, was traveling southwest when his vehicle drifted left of center. It then collided with a 2019 Ford Transit van heading in the opposite direction. The force of the impact caused the van to roll over.
Emergency responders from the Perry Township Fire Department extricated Manack from his vehicle. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford Transit, 40-year-old Adam R. Haynes of Copley Township, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.
