A 34-year-old construction worker tragically lost his life on Thursday afternoon in Gurgaon's Sector 70A. The laborer, identified as Pintu from Samastipur, Bihar, fell from the third floor of a house under construction.
Authorities reported that a shuttering plank allegedly slipped loose, striking the worker and causing him to fall. He was transported to Park Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The construction site, situated on a recently developed vacant plot, is currently under investigation.
Police have stated that safety arrangements were reportedly in place. As of the time of this report, no contractor negligence has been established, and no First Information Report has been registered. Further actions are pending the completion of the investigation and a postmortem examination.
