The Kindi and Matt Medina family lost their Beulah home to the Aspen Acres Fire on June 29. The wildfire rapidly consumed their property, marking it as the last home in Beulah proper to burn.
This devastating event resulted in the loss of their home and employment, as Kindi's caregiver clients were displaced and Matt's house-flipping projects and tools were destroyed. They were also planning a 'healing center' on their property, a dream now unrealized.
Currently, the family is seeking to raise $6,500 via a GoFundMe campaign to cover essential expenses for rebuilding. They have already spent over $600 on basic necessities, highlighting the extensive financial challenge ahead.
Despite the hardship, the Medinas express unwavering optimism and faith, believing in a plan for their future and cherishing community support. They are grateful for every contribution, no matter the size, and are determined to rebuild.
