On the evening of November 2, 2025, two farmers were killed in a tragic accident in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. According to the police, the incident occurred when a tractor-trolley overturned and fell into a nearby pond near Vijaypur village.
The deceased have been identified as Deendayal Rajput (40) and Bablu Rajput (35), both farmers from Matguwan village. The two men had gone to purchase fertilizer on the evening of November 2nd but did not return home. Concerned relatives began searching for them, and on the morning of November 3rd, they found the overturned tractor in the pond with the two men lying dead nearby.
However, the victims' families have alleged that the deaths were not accidental and have demanded a thorough investigation into the incident. They have accused some local residents of murdering the two farmers and then staging it as an accident. The police have stated that they are probing all angles, including the possibility of foul play, but the preliminary findings suggest the deaths were caused when the tractor lost balance and overturned.
The bodies of Deendayal Rajput and Bablu Rajput have been sent to Satai Hospital for postmortem examination. The local authorities have assured the families that a detailed investigation will be conducted to determine the exact cause of the tragic incident.
