A tragedy unfolded in Edenderry on Saturday evening when a house fire claimed the lives of a young boy and a woman in her sixties. The fire, which broke out at a home in Castleview Park, also resulted in serious injuries for another woman. The injured woman, identified as being in her 50s, was transported to a hospital in the Midlands for treatment.
