London Ambulance Service confirmed that two males were treated at the scene and transported as a priority to a major trauma center. The Metropolitan Police stated that the officer involved was on foot at the time of the collision. Both the e-scooter rider and the police officer sustained injuries that were later assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing.
The area surrounding the incident was secured by police while the severity of the injuries was confirmed. Officers patrolled the cordon, with one heard instructing cyclists to move away from the crime scene.
