In Dadri, an alarming incident of food poisoning has led to the hospitalization of approximately a dozen people. The individuals, belonging to two different families, fell ill after consuming momos from a local street vendor. Symptoms reported included severe vomiting, abdominal pain, headaches, and fever.
Ten members of a single family from the Nai Abadi locality experienced a rapid decline in health following the consumption of momos purchased for a family gathering. Another individual also confirmed being hospitalized for two days after eating from the same vendor. Doctors at Dadri Government Hospital confirmed the patients' condition, suggesting food poisoning as the likely cause.
In response to the incident, a formal complaint has been lodged with the District Magistrate. The Food Safety Department has also taken note and plans to investigate the Momo stall near the Tehsil office. An investigation team is scheduled to collect samples and conduct a hygiene audit to determine the cause of the contamination.
