The fire rapidly intensified, consuming the neighboring apartment within 15 minutes. Fortunately, the residents were not home at the time, but their pets suffered losses, with two out of five birds perishing. The fire brigade arrived approximately 45 minutes after the initial call and took about an hour to extinguish the flames.
Following the incident, Daisy Shah noted that gas supply to both buildings was shut off, and the affected building experienced a power cut. She expressed concern over the lack of civic sense among those conducting the campaign, emphasizing the potential for worse outcomes from such activities.
