Three individuals were taken to hospital following an incident at Helen's Bay, County Down on Saturday afternoon. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) received an emergency call at approximately 13:00 GMT. A significant response was mobilized, involving two emergency crews, a rapid response paramedic, a Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), a critical care paramedic, and an ambulance officer.
Emergency medical personnel provided treatment at the scene. Subsequently, two patients were transported to the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald for further care. A third patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. Police services also attended the location to manage the situation.
