The Clearwater Police Department confirmed the incident occurred on Coronado Avenue and described it as a "close call," emphasizing that no injuries were reported and the vehicle did not fully enter the water. This event draws parallels to other instances of vehicles ending up in swimming pools, notably a matte black Tesla Cybertruck that drove into an empty pool near Phoenix, Arizona, in February 2025.
