A house in Long Beach sustained significant damage Tuesday afternoon when a white SUV crashed through its fence and into the structure. The incident occurred just before 2 p.m. in the 100 block of East Bort Street.
Three occupants of the home were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to the Long Beach Fire Department. Aerial footage showed the vehicle embedded in the home's front section amid debris.
Emergency crews worked to remove the SUV from the residence and provided structural support to the damaged home. The driver of the vehicle was not among those taken to the hospital. Information regarding any additional occupants of the SUV is not yet available.
