Moose Crashes Calgary Office, Smashes Window

An unusual event unfolded in southeast Calgary on Tuesday morning when a moose entered an office building. The animal caused damage by breaking a window before entering the building's front foyer. Building operator Grant Thomas-Nelson, initially disbelieving the report, confirmed the moose's presence upon arrival.

Thomas-Nelson took steps to encourage the moose to leave by propping open doors, but the animal exited through the same broken window it entered. The young moose, described as being the size of a horse, then headed towards the adjacent Fish Creek Provincial Park. This rare occurrence in a populated area did not result in any injuries.
