A tragic accident occurred recently in Brooklyn Center when two young girls riding a minibike were struck by a motorist. The collision happened on Thursday afternoon near 63rd Avenue North and Brooklyn Drive.
Both girls were under the age of 10. Emergency services provided immediate medical attention at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital. Sadly, one of the girls succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
The second child involved in the incident is currently in critical condition. Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation into the fatal crash.
