A tragic incident on November 20, 2025, left a 4-year-old boy, Roland, facing a life-altering injury. While standing with his mother, Tracy Moore, waiting for the school bus, two dogs that initially appeared friendly launched a sudden and violent attack. Roland sustained severe injuries to his left ear, which was left hanging and required immediate hospitalization.
Despite a week of intensive medical treatment, including leech therapy, doctors were unable to save Roland's ear. It was amputated the day before Thanksgiving. The family returned home on the holiday, forever changed by the traumatic event. Roland, who is too young for a prosthetic, now suffers from night terrors and a fear of dogs.
To support Roland's recovery, a GoFundMe page has been established. The family is seeking contributions to cover mounting legal fees, extensive medical expenses, and essential child therapy. Their goal is to ensure Roland receives the care and justice he deserves following this horrific attack.
