He suffered a diffuse axonal injury, a severe ligament tear requiring surgery, a fractured pelvis and ribs, and a broken collarbone and wrist. Initially in critical condition and a medically induced coma, Aiden has now been moved to the hospital's rehabilitation floor.
His mother shared that Aiden is undergoing physical, occupational, and speech therapy. He is speaking more, remembering people and details, and laughing, demonstrating incredible resilience. Despite a frontal brain injury, his spirit remains intact as he works on walking and talking.
