A three-year-old boy who suffered severe injuries in a crocodile enclosure has returned home from the hospital. His family announced his discharge, sharing that he is now settled, enjoying his toys, and sleeping in his own bed while also embracing his role as a big brother. The incident occurred on June 18th at Johnsons of Old Hurst in Cambridgeshire. The boy's rehabilitation journey is ongoing, involving frequent hospital visits to plan the next steps. His immediate surgeries are complete, allowing the family to focus on his recovery at home. Previously, the family reported he had undergone seven operations. The fundraising page established to support the child's recovery has garnered over £113,000. This funding has been crucial for covering immediate expenses such as bills and mortgage payments, as well as compensating for lost wages. The family has also used donations to purchase toys for the pediatric intensive care unit at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and contributed to the Sick Children's Trust charity. They also plan to donate to the Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust to express gratitude to the hospital staff. Authorities had arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder, who was later bailed and assessed as unfit for interview due to learning disabilities.
