Beloved Baker Strangled by Bread Machine in Tragic Accident

On November 14, 2025, a beloved local baker in Damasi, Greece tragically lost her life in a freak accident at her own bakery. Zoe Letsiou, 49, was cleaning a bread-making machine when her scarf became caught in the rollers, leading to a horrific strangulation.

According to Letsiou's brother-in-law, she was in the process of cleaning the machine after finishing production when the incident occurred. As the machine continued to run, the scarf tightened around her neck, ultimately causing her death.
