Bees Escape Truck, Cause Fatal Crash in Arizona

On November 8, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Mesa, Arizona, approximately 20 miles east of downtown Phoenix. A pedestrian was killed after a swarm of bees got loose inside a pickup truck, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash.
According to local authorities, the driver of the truck was transporting the bees when they somehow escaped and began to sting the driver. This caused the driver to suffer a medical issue, which then led them to hit the pedestrian and crash into a nearby pole. Emergency responders were immediately called to the scene, and both the driver and pedestrian were rushed to a local hospital.
Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead upon arrival, while the driver was treated for only minor injuries. The identities of those involved have not yet been released, and it remains unclear whether the driver will face any charges related to the incident.
