Mother, 2 Sons Drown in Tragic Balotra Tank Incident

A devastating incident occurred in Nimba Ki Dhani village, within the Gida police station area of Balotra district. A mother, identified as Devi (29), tragically drowned along with her two young sons in a water tank. The incident took place on Wednesday evening while Devi was working in the fields, and her sons were playing nearby. The elder son, Arjun (6), accidentally fell into the water tank. His mother, in a desperate attempt to save him, jumped in after him. Sadly, her younger son, Dharmendra (3), also fell into the tank while following his mother.
Neighbors and grandparents rushed to the scene upon hearing screams and managed to pull all three from the tank. They were immediately transported to Gida Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed their deaths. Gida police arrived at the location and arranged for the bodies to be moved to the hospital mortuary. The family has stated they do not suspect foul play and have described the event as an accident. An unnatural death case has been filed, with further proceedings, including a post-mortem, scheduled for the following morning.
