A devastating accident claimed the life of a one-year-old girl in Kissimmee, Florida, after her father fell asleep while holding her in a hot tub. The incident occurred around 3:30 AM on December 13, when Reynard Tyrone Hough, visiting from Washington D.C., lost consciousness for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Upon waking, Hough discovered his daughter, Azariah, unresponsive. Despite frantic CPR attempts and immediate transport to a local hospital, she was pronounced dead an hour later. Hough later confessed to drinking alcohol and ingesting two different narcotics before entering the hot tub with his daughter.
Authorities have charged Hough with child neglect and manslaughter by aggravated abuse of a child, citing negligence due to the substances likely causing him to fall asleep. He remains in custody at Osceola County Jail as the investigation continues, with a GoFundMe established to support the grieving mother.
