- A 28-year-old Australian mother is in a critical condition in Bali.
- She suffered severe brain trauma and a broken pelvis in a motorbike accident.
- Family hopes to repatriate her to Australia once medically stable.

A holiday to Bali turned into a nightmare for a 28-year-old Australian mother, Alivia Jane Campbell, from the NSW Central Coast. She is currently in an induced coma in a critical condition after her motorcycle collided with a truck on March 8, 2026.
The accident occurred just a day after her arrival on the Indonesian island for a planned girls' trip. Ms. Campbell sustained severe brain trauma and a broken pelvis. She remains hospitalized, requiring a ventilator and facing further surgery.
Her two young daughters, aged three and five, are safe in Australia with their father. The family is focused on her recovery and hopes to transport her back to Australia once she is medically stable enough for the journey, as mounting medical bills become a concern.
Friends and family have launched a GoFundMe campaign to support her recovery and assist her family during this challenging period. They are offering messages of encouragement, urging her to continue fighting for her life and her daughters. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed it is providing consular assistance.
