Christmas Miracles: Girl Recovers After Being Hit By Car

An 8-year-old girl is beginning her long recovery in the hospital this Christmas season after being struck by a car near her home on English Avenue. The incident occurred on December 19th, when the young girl reportedly ran into the street. The driver stated she was unable to avoid hitting the child after avoiding another.

She sustained significant injuries, including to her ear, back, and spine, and is currently under heavy sedation. Doctors have informed her family that she will need extensive physical therapy before she can walk again. Her mother expressed deep gratitude that her daughter is alive, despite the difficult circumstances.
