This widespread inundation has submerged a significant crop area of 45,341.98 hectares. Rescue and relief efforts are in full swing, with the Army, Air Force, NDRF, SDRF, and civil volunteers working tirelessly.
Over 32,000 displaced individuals have found shelter in 81 operational relief camps, while 34 distribution centers are also functioning. The Dhansiri river continues to flow above its danger level in Golaghat district, indicating the persistent severity of the situation.
