- The ATV pinned her chest, obstructing breathing and oxygen to her brain.

A tragic ATV accident on June 21st resulted in the death of 13-year-old Myah Dennis in Arizona. She succumbed to her injuries on July 3rd, after being on life support for twelve days following the rollover crash. The ATV, driven by her 16-year-old sister Kaitlyn, flipped after hitting a rut, pinning both girls.
Myah was pinned across her chest, which prevented her from breathing and led to severe oxygen deprivation to her brain. While Kaitlyn attempted to call for help, her phone was overheating. Their stepfather, James McClure, who received a Life360 alert, arrived and performed CPR on Myah before emergency services arrived.
Myah was airlifted to a hospital and later transferred to a Las Vegas facility. Although Kaitlyn was treated and released, Myah never recovered. Her family made the difficult decision to remove her from life support.
Myah became an organ donor and was honored with an "Honor Walk" by hospital staff, family, and friends. Her mother, Nicole McClure, urged other parents to be aware of ATV dangers, noting the immense weight of the vehicles and the lack of sufficient safety information available.
