Tragedy struck Ajmer on Wednesday when an unidentified man was fatally hit by a train at the Subash Nagar railway crossing. The incident occurred while the crossing was barricaded, suggesting the man may have been attempting to cross the tracks. He was believed to be around 37 years old, but possessed no identification.
Following the accident, nearby shopkeepers alerted the Ramganj police. The man's body was subsequently transported to JLN Hospital for further examination. A unique tattoo on his right hand, inscribed with the names 'Om' and 'Sarita', is the only identifying mark found so far. Authorities are appealing for information to help identify the victim and determine the circumstances leading to the accident.
