A shocking accident on Tuesday resulted in a 14-year-old boy losing his left leg. The incident unfolded near the CRPF bridge in Ajmer as the boy, identified as Praygraj, attempted to exit a train that was moving slowly.
Praygraj had been on a two-day trip to Jaipur with friends and was on his return journey when the train significantly slowed its pace near the bridge. In a bid to alight, he slipped and fell onto the tracks, leading to severe injury.
GRP personnel were quickly dispatched to the scene and transported Praygraj to JLN Hospital. Medical authorities confirmed that his leg had to be amputated below the knee due to the severity of his injuries. The event serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of disembarking from moving trains.
