Kannada actor and filmmaker Mayur Patel was involved in an alleged drink-and-drive incident that resulted in a multi-car crash in Bengaluru. The accident occurred around 10 pm on Old Airport Road near the Commando Hospital signal.
Patel, reportedly driving a Fortuner SUV, is accused of rear-ending a car at a traffic signal, leading to a collision involving four other vehicles. Two Swift Dzire cars and one government vehicle sustained damage.
Following the incident, Halasuru Traffic Police arrived and conducted a drink-and-drive test on Mayur Patel, which is reported to have tested positive. Based on complaints from affected drivers, authorities seized the actor's SUV and initiated a case at the Halasuru Traffic Police Station.
