On October 10th, 2025, a heartbreaking accident occurred in Gurgaon, India, resulting in the death of a 6-year-old girl. Yanshika, a UKG student at a private school in Kapriwas, was crossing the road with her father around 7:15 am to catch her school bus when a tractor hit her. The impact caused Yanshika to lose her balance and fall onto the road, where she was then run over by the approaching school bus.
The young girl sustained severe injuries as the bus crushed her under both the front and rear tires. Her father rushed her to the local government hospital, but doctors were unable to save her and she was declared dead on arrival. An FIR (First Information Report) has been filed against the tractor and bus drivers for causing death by negligence and rash driving.
Both the accused drivers fled the scene immediately after the accident, but police have since identified the tractor driver as Thawar Mal, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, and the school bus driver as Sukhbir, a resident of Pataudi. Authorities believe the tractor, which was loaded with sand, was being driven recklessly at the time of the incident.
Yanshika's mother, Nisha, described her as an intelligent and kind child who always used to smile while getting ready for school. The 6-year-old was the eldest of three siblings, with her younger sister also attending the same school. The tragic loss has devastated the family and the local community.
