A magnitude 4.3 earthquake jolted Panlong district in Kunming, Yunnan province, on Wednesday. The China Earthquake Networks Center reported the seismic event occurred at 6:31 pm local time, with its epicenter at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Residents near the epicenter experienced intense shaking, described as doors and windows rattling vigorously.
