Tragic Road Accident Kills Three Youth En Route to Pilgrimage

Tragedy struck early Monday morning in Bahraich district when a car carrying five friends veered off the Nanpara-Lakhimpur road, crashing into a tree and overturning. The devastating accident, which occurred around 4 am near Semrahna village, resulted in the on-the-spot deaths of three individuals.
Among the deceased was 25-year-old Abhishek Shukla, the branch manager of Shriram Finance. The other victims were identified as 18-year-old Deepu Verma and 19-year-old Nitish Singh. The vehicle, reportedly en route to the Kainchi Dham pilgrimage site in Uttarakhand, was mangled beyond recognition.
Two other occupants, Ajay Sharma and Lovkush Sharma, sustained critical injuries and were promptly attended to by emergency services. Eyewitnesses described the collision as exceptionally violent. Police and locals worked together to extract the victims from the wreckage, with the bodies subsequently sent for post-mortem examination.
