3 Dutch Men Die in Ohio Tractor-Trailer Collision

Three men from the Netherlands were killed in a vehicle crash on Ohio 13 in Knox County on August 18th. The collision involved a Ford Transit van and a tractor-trailer.
The van, operated by Gijs M. Odpam, was traveling westbound on Yankee Street and failed to stop at a stop sign. It was subsequently struck by a northbound tractor-trailer.
Seven people were in the Ford Transit van. Tragically, three occupants, identified as Arno Kramer, Martijn E. Van Vooren, and Hermanus J. Fortuin, all from the Netherlands, died at the scene.
The driver of the van and three other passengers sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals. The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio Highway Patrol.
