As of November 14th, 2025, rapper 21 Savage has stepped up to lead the hurricane relief efforts in Jamaica following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa. The musician, whose father is Jamaican, has partnered with the Bob & Rita Marley Foundation, led by Cedella and Rohan Marley, to provide aid and support to those affected by the storm.
21 Savage's Leading by Example Foundation has launched an Emergency Match Campaign, where all donations made over the next 48 hours will be matched by the foundation. This initiative, titled "One Love, One Heart, One Voice," has also received support from other Jamaican artists like DJ Khaled, Sean Paul, and Maxi Priest, who have launched their own relief efforts.
The partnership also includes collaborations with Global Empowerment Mission and Food For The Poor Jamaica, ensuring that the relief efforts are comprehensive and reach those in need. 21 Savage, who was just visiting his family in Jamaica shortly before the hurricane struck, is determined to make a difference and help his homeland recover from the disaster.
