A devastating bus accident occurred on Sunday morning on Croatia's A3 motorway, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to 20 others. The incident happened at approximately 7:25 AM, near the Ivanić-Grad junction.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, responded rapidly to the scene. Six of the injured passengers sustained serious injuries and required hospitalization in the Zagreb area. Traffic on the affected stretch of the A3 motorway was significantly slowed, with vehicles directed to the left lane as investigations into the cause of the fatal collision commenced.
This tragedy comes shortly after a separate incident in eastern France on Friday morning, where a school bus carrying 43 people, including 15 minors, plunged into a ditch. That crash tragically claimed the lives of a seven-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy, and left 20 others injured, four critically. Investigations into the French accident are also ongoing.
