Teen Indicted After Fatal Crash: Ran Stop Sign

Six months after a fatal crash, a 19-year-old named Sean McDonald has been indicted by a Clermont County Grand Jury. McDonald, from Blanchester, faces charges including aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault. The incident took place on January 24th at the intersection of state Route 232 and Swings Corner Point Isabel Road in Tate Township.
According to a crash report, a woman driving westbound on state Route 232 with Dennis Skeene as her passenger was struck by McDonald. McDonald was traveling south on Swings Corner Point Isabel Road and allegedly failed to stop at the intersection. His vehicle hit the victims' car on the passenger side, where Skeene was seated.
Both Skeene and the woman sustained severe injuries and were transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Tragically, Skeene later succumbed to his injuries. McDonald's vehicle reportedly hit a tree following the collision.
