A devastating collision near Marangi village in Chatra resulted in the death of a 13-year-old boy, Prem Kumar. The incident occurred on Sunday when the two-wheeler Prem was riding collided with a tractor. He was en route to attend a wedding at his maternal grandmother's residence in Marangi village.
The impact of the collision was so severe that Prem died instantly at the scene. Tragically, he was transporting two goats on his two-wheeler, and both animals also lost their lives in the accident. The driver of the tractor reportedly fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind.
Authorities at the Giddhaur police station have initiated an investigation into the fatal accident. The tractor is believed to be owned by Jitendra Saw of Pathalgada. The victim's family has requested compensation from the government. Prem's body was transported to Chatra Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
