Undocumented Immigrant Indicted for Deadly Jet Ski Crash on Texas Lake

In a tragic incident that occurred over Memorial Day weekend, a 21-year-old undocumented immigrant named Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez has been indicted on a manslaughter charge for fatally striking 18-year-old Ava Moore with a high-speed jet ski on Grapevine Lake.

According to the report, Gonzalez allegedly fled the scene with a man who later crashed his car before escaping. A passenger on the jet ski remained at the scene and spoke with officers, but Moore was pronounced dead at the hospital due to her injuries.

The victim's family is devastated by the loss, but they are grateful that the case is moving forward. They are conducting an independent investigation into water patrol policies, enforcement protocols, and safety measures at the local, state, and federal levels, with the goal of holding any responsible parties accountable.
