Summary
- Arnaldo Cintron, 42, accused of murdering his girlfriend's cousin
- Allegedly forced victim to wear girlfriend's clothes before stabbing her
- Victim's boyfriend witnessed the murder and was forced to help cover it up

On August 18, 2025, 42-year-old Arnaldo Cintron was arrested along with his girlfriend Giselle for the murder of Hiojaira Velez Bonilla, Giselle's 42-year-old cousin. According to police, Cintron stabbed Bonilla to death during an argument over bills at the home they had shared together.
The victim's boyfriend, Elga Davis II, 29, claims he witnessed the murder and was then forced by Cintron and Giselle to help clean up the crime scene and dispose of Bonilla's body. Davis alleges that Cintron wore Bonilla's wig and clothing during the murder and at one point forced Davis to wear the victim's clothes as well.
Prosecutors are now arguing that Cintron should be held in jail until his trial, citing the risk he poses to the public through his violent behavior. Giselle Bonilla is also facing charges related to the cover-up of the crime.
