Rohini Youth Critical After Rs 2,000 Loan Dispute

In northwest Delhi's Rohini, a 19-year-old painter is fighting for his life after a violent stabbing incident on Saturday. The youth sustained severe stab wounds to his neck during a dispute over a Rs 2,000 loan, according to police reports. The attack took place in Shyam Colony, Budh Vihar Phase 2.
Authorities have identified and apprehended two suspects, Ratan (35) and his associate Shyam (also known as Sameer or Somveer, 40), both residents of Sector 25, Rohini. An intervention by another individual, Aditya, who tried to de-escalate the situation, resulted in a minor hand injury.
The victim, identified as Kuldeep, was rushed to Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is currently in the intensive care unit. Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and recovered the weapon used in the assault.
