An 18-year-old youth, identified as Aditya from Nagal village, was fatally stabbed in Khajuri village, Yamunanagar, on Saturday. Two other individuals, Rajkumar and Arjun, sustained serious injuries during the same incident and are currently hospitalized.
Yamunanagar police have initiated legal proceedings at the Jathlana police station, filing a case against Rakshit, his father Pritam Singh, and several unidentified individuals from Khajuri village. Charges include murder and attempted murder.
The incident appears to have originated from a dispute, with the complainant Arjun stating that Aditya had gone to meet Rakshit to resolve an alleged abuse. Upon arrival at Rajput Dharamshala, an altercation ensued, leading to Aditya being stabbed multiple times, and Rajkumar and Arjun also being attacked.
Following the incident, tension prevailed in Khajuri village, prompting the deployment of additional police forces. The forensic team and CIA unit inspected the crime scene. While the immediate cause is under investigation, preliminary inquiries suggest a conflict between youths from different villages. Efforts are underway to apprehend the accused.
