Following his discovery, Amandeep was initially taken to Machhiwara hospital before being referred to facilities in Samrala and Chandigarh due to his critical condition. Doctors at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh pronounced him dead. While medical professionals indicated a possible overdose, authorities are awaiting the official viscera examination report for definitive confirmation.
The family has provided the police with the names of two individuals they suspect are responsible. The SHO of Machhiwara police station confirmed that the post-mortem has been completed and further actions will be based on the viscera report.
