Woodstock police have announced the arrest of Prince Phillip Rolle, an 18-year-old from Locust Grove, in connection with a deadly shooting that took place last month. The victim, Matthew Milner, also 18, was fatally shot at the Riverstock Apartments on January 26.
Officers responded to the scene and found Milner with gunshot wounds, providing aid before he was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Detectives, with assistance from state and county agencies, investigated the homicide.
Investigators identified a suspect vehicle that led them to Rolle. He faces charges including malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault. Rolle was taken into custody by Atlanta Police during an unrelated incident and is now at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
