Quentodd Montell Pinkins, 35, of Woodstock, has been sentenced to three decades in prison following a guilty plea to fentanyl and methamphetamine trafficking charges. The sentence includes 15 years to be served incarcerated and the remaining 15 years under probation, handed down on June 2, 2026.
The charges originated from a 2025 investigation by the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, initiated due to information about Pinkins distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine in Woodstock. Undercover agents successfully completed four controlled drug buys, each involving Pinkins selling fentanyl near Highway 92.
The final transaction on March 19, 2025, involved Pinkins selling seven grams of fentanyl. His subsequent arrest saw the execution of search warrants at his home and vehicle, where investigators discovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine, a digital scale, a handgun, and $1,411 in cash.
Assistant District Attorney Leland McElveen noted the defendant's brazen drug deals in public parking lots, demonstrating a complete disregard for public safety. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed the recovered substances were trafficking quantities. District Attorney Susan K. Treadaway emphasized ongoing efforts to hold fentanyl traffickers accountable.
